Nathan Li

President and Founder

Hey there, I'm Nathan, the founder and president of Vision Scholars. I am a grade 10 student and I teach Math, English, Science, Social Studies, basic coding, basic French, and Music Theory. I have received first place awards in piano and have received academic rewards in school for Math and ICT, as well as two honour rolls. In addition to my passion of teaching, I enjoy playing squash, reading, and drawing.

Austin Zhang

Math & ICT Instructor

Hello, I’am Austin, one of many promising tutors of Vision Scholars. Currently in grade 10, I teach ICT and Mathematics. I have received an honour roll from my school, as well as an award for Math, English, and band. I've also won numerous gold, silver, and bronze in swimming. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, swimming, and taking walks.

Roy Qian

Math Instructor

Hi, my name is Roy and I am in grade 10, currently in french immersion. Some of my hobbies include hanging out with my friends, playing badminton and tennis, playing video games, and reading. I teach Math courses up to Pre-Calculus 11 as I have received high marks in all of them. In terms of accomplishments, I have received honour roll in both of my years at high school so far, and in elementary school, I obtained the highest mark on the gauss math contest in my school, and was top 15% in the AMC 10.

Timothy Zhu

Math & Science Instructor

My name is Timothy Zhu, and I am a Grade 10 student. I teach Math and Science 8-10, as well as Biology 11 and Chemistry 11. I have received an achievement award for Math and Pre-Calculus 10, as well as an honour roll. My hobbies include sailing and going to the gym.

Lucas Zhu

Math, Science & Social Studies Instructor

Hi, my name is Lucas Zhu, and I'm a grade 10 student. I love volleyball, school, and late night calls with my friends. I teach Science, Math, and Social Studies. I have received achievement awards for Science in past years as well as a lot of praise from my fellow peers and teachers.

Matthew Hu

Badminton & Science Instructor

Hi, my name is Matthew, and I’m in grade 10 and in French immersion. I’ve won 2 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze  tournaments for badminton, as well as a junior boy's MVP and a band achievement award. I teach Chemistry and Biology from grade 8-10 and badminton. Some of my hobbies include badminton, music, and gaming. 

Kenny Jiang

Math & Mandarin Instructor

My name is Kenny and I am currently a grade 10 student. I have achieved  a placement within the top one percent of contestants in the University of Waterloo's Pascal Contest and I currently have a percentage of 99 in my current Grade 11 mathematics course. Beyond academics, I enjoy playing basketball and I have competed at a national level for it, earning a silver medal in the U15 division. I teach Math, Mandarin, and Physics.

Luna Peng

Hello my name is Luna and I'm a grade 10 student. In my free time, I like to read and write. I teach Math, Science, Social Studies, French, and English. I haven't participated in many competitions yet, but I have received 2 honor rolls from my school.

Jasmine Li

Art, Social Studies, & English Instructor

My name is Jasmine and I'm a grade 10 student. I teach Arts and Crafts, Social Studies, and English. I enjoy singing and anything art-related in my free time. I have received awards from the conservatory of music, annual music festival and Vancouver’s music festival

Henry Zhuo

Core Subjects & Music Theory Instructor

My name is Henry and I’m in grade 10.  I teach Math, Science, English, and Music Theory. I have received an outstanding student award as well as 4 honour rolls. My hobbies include fencing, content creation/music production, music performance, and glazing Kanye. A fun fact about myself is I play 5 instruments.
